The name Kinobi comes from the Japanese phrase ‘ki no bi’, meaning the coming together of beauty and function.
This central concept directs everything we do and as a result, we feature hand-made, limited edition, small-run or ethical items from independent designers. We are about slow and considered garments, accessories and objects for everyday life.
We want to join the grassroots galvanisation of small, independent businesses that will provide a genuine retail alternative and move us all towards better ways of living. We want to be a force for spending wisely.
Choosing quality over quantity, prioritising longevity over impulse and find lasting love in beautiful things.
These values make up the framework that we use to make decisions about suppliers, production methods, product quality, editorial direction and of course our relationships with our customers.
